Agencies assisting with the operation included the FBI, the State Bureau of Investigation, the North Carolina National Guard, the Aberdeen Police Department, the Winston Salem Police Department, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and Sheriffs offices in Lee and Davie counties.
